Where can God use your talents?

We have a small yet mighty choir! They rejoice during Sunday Service at particular occasions and throughout the year.  Feel free to contact Russell Easley to lend your talented voice.

Each year the Youth go on a mission trip to an area of the country in need.  Past trip locations include Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.  The work is grueling for the adults who volunteer AND for the kids.  But everyone who goes gets such a spiritual lift that is indescribable. Should you want to help with volunteering for fundraising event or to go on the actual Youth Mission, please contact Jay Elliott.

This team meets on Tuesdays at 9:30 at the Fellowship Hall.  We create special blankets for folks in area nursing homes and sick children in the hospital.  Ann Phelps is main person who can answer any questions.

We meet at the nursing home once a month for a couple of hours of adult coloring.  We play hymns and sing while coloring.  It’s a joyful time for both the elderly and the volunteers.  Talk to Dee Elliott should you want to have some fun!

Mooreville UMC believes that advancing God’s Kingdom doesn’t come through new ways of doing church, but through living life as Jesus would.  WWJD?  That is what our Evangelism team works on — not increasing the number of people who come to the church, but the number of people who come to love Jesus Christ!  If you want to be part of a fun team, Jan Elliott is the committee leader.

Along with three other churches, Mooreville UMC volunteers work from 8:30-11.  We feed approximately 43-45 families in need.  If you want to participate, Candace Moore leads that effort.
