The annual Mooreville Community Barbeque sponsored by Mooreville United Methodist Church will be Saturday, July 6 with serving scheduled from 5 to 8 PM.
This event has been held for over 50 consecutive years as a fund raiser and social gathering for the community and the central Texas area with former community residents, former church members and friends coming together to celebrate the Independence day weekend.
The menu includes beef, sausage, beans, potato salad, all the trimmings and dessert. All food is prepared on site by church members and friends.
There will be a drive-through to distribute plates to go for those who wish to take them home. Picnic tables will be available for outside dining and inside, air conditioned, dining will be in the fellowship hall.
Tickets are $12 per plate and are available in advance or on site the day of the barbeque.
There will be a live auction and a silent auction. below are a few items to be sold.
